Jatheon Increases Market Share and Expands Channel Reach Across The Globe. Jatheon Technologies, a leading provider of Plug n Comply email archiving appliances, today announced that it has reached an agreement to take over the ongoing operations and support of NorthSeas AMT, a global provider of email archiving software for appliance solutions. The new combined customer base will give Jatheon a much larger share of the emailing archiving market with additional distribution channels across the US, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. Both Jatheon and NorthSeas ranked in the Gartner Email Archiving Appliance Vendor report issued on January 16, 2009. According to the Gartner report, Jatheon held 2% of the worldwide market share, and NorthSeas had 8% market share at year-end 2008. "This agreement, coupled with our recently launched next generation PNC2 product line, significantly strengthens our position in the growing email archiving market," said Kieron Dowling, President and CEO of Jatheon Technologies. "We are pleased to be merging the NorthSeas operations into our rapidly expanding customer base and reseller network." In addition to this agreement, Jatheon is pleased to announce that Stephen Spence has been appointed to the Advisory Board of Jatheon. Stephen was the founder and CEO of NorthSeas, and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and contacts to the Jatheon team. |
